The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and validating electronic trading platforms, algorithmic trading solutions, and related controls to ensure system quality, stability, and regulatory compliance. This role involves close collaboration with trading, quantitative research, technology, risk, and compliance teams. Key responsibilities include executing various types of testing for trading applications, developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and scripts, as well as identifying and tracking defects. The role also requires the analyst to support test automation initiatives, validate trading and risk management controls, and maintain accurate testing documentation. Applicants for this role at the company should have a background in QA, UAT, or application testing within capital markets, with a strong understanding of electronic trading platforms, trading workflows, algorithmic trading, and trading controls. Experience with trading, technology, or quantitative teams is essential, as is a strong skill set in analytical, problem-solving, and communication. Technical skills should include experience with testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar, familiarity with test automation tools, and a working knowledge of SQL and programming languages like Python, Java, C++, or .NET.
