The Dean will lead a rapidly growing and dynamic school, with a focus on STEM disciplines, and will be tasked with recruiting, mentoring, and retaining a distinguished faculty body. This role is pivotal in harnessing the talent and resources of the institution and the surrounding community to elevate the school to a nationally ranked powerhouse. The ideal Dean will embody the spirit of innovation and collaboration, where technology, science, business, and the arts intersect. They will be the chief advocate and storyteller for the school, engaging with university leadership, industry partners, alumni, and donors. The position requires a leader who can navigate the school's five thematic research thrusts and is prepared to drive the expansion of programs in areas such as biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, analog electronics, cybersecurity, systems engineering, robotics, and control systems.
