This executive-level, client-facing leadership role is dedicated to winning work, building relationships, and shaping the future of the transportation practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the business development and growth strategy, driving pursuit strategy, and proposal development, and will be expected to have a proven track record in winning work and developing client relationships. A strong industry network and credibility with public and private sector clients are essential, as is the ability to represent the firm at various industry events and forums. Applicants for the Vice President of Transportation position at the company should hold a PE or TE license, with AICP certification preferred, and have a minimum of 12 years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, or transportation consulting. The role requires a deep understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and practice growth opportunities, as well as experience in mentoring transportation professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various technical aspects of the industry, including LOS, VMT, traffic impact analysis, signal timing, and CEQA/NEPA requirements. Experience with industry-standard software such as Synchro, PTV Vistro, TransCAD, Auto-CAD, and ArcGIS is a plus.
