The successful candidate will be tasked with assessing and enhancing the effectiveness, consistency, and compliance of internal audit activities. This pivotal role involves managing and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program, ensuring alignment with global internal audit standards, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices. The Vice President will be responsible for executing quality assurance reviews, evaluating the quality of audit work, and leading thematic and targeted reviews to identify opportunities for improvement. Strong expertise in internal audit quality assurance, audit methodology, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement is essential, with a preference for candidates experienced in global financial services and familiar with European regulatory expectations. Applicants for the Vice President position should possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and have at least 10 years' of experience in internal audit, audit quality assurance, risk management, compliance, or a related function within a complex financial services organization. Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are required. The role demands a candidate with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proven track record of influencing positive change. Experience in data analytics, audit technology, and a deep understanding of IIA global internal audit standards are highly valued.
