The Company is in search of a Head of Risk to spearhead its enterprise risk, health and safety, and compliance agenda. This senior leadership role is pivotal in a period of transformation and strategic change, with a focus on shaping the risk agenda of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a robust enterprise risk management framework, ensuring that risks are effectively identified, assessed, mitigated, and monitored at all levels. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the health and safety strategy, driving compliance programs, and fostering a proactive risk culture throughout the business. To excel in this position, candidates must be proven risk leaders with a strong background in enterprise risk management and substantial health and safety expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing risk frameworks, a track record of embedding risk and compliance programs, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including the Board. Strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and previous leadership experience in developing high-performing teams are also essential. The Head of Risk will be expected to manage relationships with regulators, external stakeholders, and specialist advisors, and to deliver meaningful risk reporting to support decision-making.
