This pivotal global leadership role is responsible for defining, owning, and governing the enterprise-wide Contamination Control Strategy, ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards. The successful candidate will serve as the primary executive-level contact for contamination control and sterility assurance, leading strategic initiatives, and championing continuous improvement in aseptic and sterility assurance domains. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, CMO and external partner management, microbiological quality and technical oversight, regulatory and compliance, business planning, and external advocacy. The role also involves people leadership, with a focus on building and developing a high-performing, globally distributed team. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, with a preference for advanced degrees, and significant experience in aseptic or bioburden control manufacturing environments. A minimum of 10 years' of people management experience and a proven track record in aseptic/sterility assurance across various industries are required. The role demands a leader with the ability to influence in a complex, global matrix organization, and executive presence to communicate and influence at the senior executive level. Experience in leading or supporting regulatory inspections and a deep understanding of global regulations related to sterility assurance are essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in CMO partnerships, industry standard-setting activities, and a strong background in technical and business acumen.
